Ahmari Braden is a Division I outfielder and pitcher at the University of Pittsburgh, where she’s entering her junior season as one of the Panthers’ most dynamic offensive players. Originally from Buford, Georgia, she led Pitt in batting average (.315), stolen bases (13), and triples (2) during the 2025 season, finishing top-15 in the ACC in stolen bases.

A four-time Extra Innings Softball Extra Elite 100 selection and former No. 14 national recruit, Ahmari brings elite speed, power, and versatility to her coaching. Now in her third year with Pittsburgh Hardball Academy, she specializes in hitting and pitching instruction, helping young athletes become complete offensive threats and smarter players on the field.

Saleyna Daniel is a Division I outfielder who played at the University of Pittsburgh and at Mississippi State. Originally from Houston, Texas, she’s a three-time SEC Honor Roll selection and NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete with experience competing against some of the top programs in the country.

This is Saleyna’s second year working with Pittsburgh Hardball Academy, where she specializes in hitting instruction and defensive development. She’s passionate about helping young athletes build confidence at the plate, improve their swing mechanics, and develop a complete offensive approach to the game.

Maddy Jean is a former collegiate pitcher who competed at Elizabethtown College and Mansfield University. Originally from Montoursville, Pennsylvania, she’s a two-time NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete and a two-time Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll selection.

Known for her command in the circle and strong leadership presence, Maddy posted a 0.72 ERA in 2024 and delivered multiple wins and saves against top competition during her career. She specializes in pitching development, helping athletes improve their mechanics, build confidence, and execute with precision on the mound.

Kyra Pittman is a graduate-student right-handed pitcher for the University of Pittsburgh who brings ACC game experience to our staff at Pittsburgh Hardball Academy. In 2025 she led the Panthers in wins (10), complete games (11), shutouts (3), innings pitched (145.2), and starts (27), and was one of just 12 ACC pitchers to record three or more shutouts that season. A Cumberland, Maryland native and Allegany High alum, she was the 2018 Averey Bridges Memorial All-Area Player of the Year and posted a 0.66 ERA with 172 strikeouts as a prep standout. Before Pitt, Kyra began her collegiate career at Maryland, appearing in 17 games across two seasons.​

At Hardball, Kyra specializes in pitching mechanics, arm care, and the mental game—helping young athletes build confidence and compete the right way.
