Pittsburgh Hardball Academy
Pittsburgh Hardball Academy is a 501(c)(3) youth development organization that uses baseball and softball as tools to support underrepresented youth academically, socially, and professionally. Our work is rooted in long-term relationships, consistent mentorship, and a belief that exposure and opportunity change life trajectories.
Through year-round programming, student-athletes receive academic support, leadership development, and access to college and career pathways that many would not otherwise experience. Beyond the field, Pittsburgh Hardball Academy connects young people to regional and national experiences, including college visits, career exploration, and leadership opportunities that expand what they see as possible for their futures.
Since its founding, Pittsburgh Hardball Academy has connected hundreds of student-athletes to postsecondary and career pathways and built the only indoor baseball and softball training facility in the City of Pittsburgh—a year-round hub for development, mentorship, and opportunity.
